Town & Country Canine provides Boarding, Training and
Board & Train services.

We pick up and drop off in Manhattan on Monday and Thursday evenings.

Our exclusive boarding services allow you to enjoy your vacation, knowing that your dog is enjoying theirs. Only a small number of dogs are accepted at any given time so your pet is assured the loving, personal care he deserves. At Town & Country Canine there’s no extra charge for special treatment! All treats, toys, bedding, individual walks, hiking, swimming and cuddle sessions are included.

Reservations are recommended. Reserve early and often!

What Your Dog’s Day Is Like:

• The day begins with a brisk “Good Morning“ walk
• Then breakfast or a snack is served
• After snacking – a rest period
• Followed by another walk
• Then we’re off to the “Morning Brain Teaser”, including archeological digs (finding buried treasure in a sandpit) and scavenger hunts for Kongs™
• Sun bathing or exercise is next (tetherball, chuck-it, fetch, kickball)
• Followed by a nap
• The afternoon is comprised of swimming and hiking
• Then a well-deserved nap
• Dinner time!
• Followed by a leisurely evening walk
• And finally, bed time – with “good night” kisses and cuddles, and then off to sweet dreams

At Town & Country Canine, we believe that when it comes to you and your dog, relationship is everything. That’s why every bit of training we do - from beginning obedience, to behavior problem solving, to therapy dog preparation - works to build trust, open lines of communication, and restore harmony in your relationship with your dog. But what’s most important to us is that you and your dog enjoy the training process, learn positive, constructive ways to interact, and enhance your relationship, all while improving your pet’s behavior.

We can help you and your dog if you are having problems with:

We can also help teach your dog the basics such as
sit, down, stay, come, leave it, drop it, wait, and more.

We offer puppy lessons as well, which cover housetraining, chewing, puppy proofing, socialization, nipping, and help with whatever creative bit of trouble your pup might manage to get herself into.

Pending an initial consultation we also treat behavior problems such as:

Fears and phobias: separation anxiety, sound phobias, fear of strangers or other dogs, etc.

Aggression: towards strangers, family members, other animals.

The most effective way to train your dog is for you to train your own dog. Unfortunately, many people are so busy that they’re not able to properly train their pet. This is a perfect opportunity to take advantage of Town & Country Canine’s professional dog training services. While you’re at work or away, we can train your dog to learn basic good manners, or help resolve behavior problems.

After the training is complete we’ll meet with you to show you what she’s learned and how to keep her new skills sharp.
